The Panama Canal recently held an update session on its legal regime with the Public Prosecutor’s Office. This activity is part of the Canal’s corporate initiatives for this year 2022, with which it seeks a rapprochement with the State institutions with which it interacts.
This first day was opened by the Administrator of the Panama Canal, Ricaurte Vásquez and the Attorney General of the Nation, Javier Caraballo.
For three days, Canal collaborators described the current panorama of the Panama Canal to officials of the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
“This training creates in us as public servants greater competencies so that we can develop our functions with greater efficiency and transparency, which benefits the country,” said Jenisbeth Malek, circuit prosecutor.
The employees of the Public Prosecutor’s Office closed the day with a visit to the Agua Clara Visitors’ Center, where they saw the transit of a Neopanamax ship.
