Recently, the Polleras de Mi Tierra group carried out a photo session with 30 polleras de gala at the Miraflores locks.
Under the direction of Rolando Domingo and Ana Patricia de la Guardia and the lens of photographer Grey Diaz, the polleras adorned the wall of the century-old structure.
“My desire with this session was to create an image for the historical memory of Panama,” explained Ana Patricia de la Guardia.
For his part, Rolando Domingo, a lawyer by profession and celebrated event organizer, expressed that “during the pandemic, this group dedicated the hours of quarantine to deepen the knowledge of its making and origin. This is a contribution to rekindle the love for Panama’s culture”.
